These flap wheels are for use on stationary machines such as bench grinders or rotating shaft drives. Non-woven abrasives give a high level of consistency of finish. They are thus ideal for metal finishing applications. The grades we offer from stock are V Fine A, which will give a fine satin finish to metal components, including stainless steel, and Fine S which will a brushed finish to metal and also work on wood and composites.

Specification:

  • Uses flaps of non-woven abrasive.
  • Solid centre for fixing on parallel shafts with clamping flanges.
  • Grade: Very Fine A (Aluminium oxide) and Fine S (Silicon Carbide) are offered here. Please enquire about other grades.
  • Max Speed Rating: 150mm Dia - 3,600rpm, 200mm Dia - 3,000rpm.
