These discs are coated in industrial diamond to give efficient smoothing action on granite and other stone. Ideal for smoothing out lippage on floors, cut marks on stone and for edge-breaking slabs. Available in 3 grades

These discs are coated with quality industrial diamond to give an effective smoothing-off action on stone. The diamond is bonded by vacuum brazing, giving an extremely hard bond. The face will thus efficiently smooth hard stone, such as granite. They are thus ideal for small areas on stone floors, such as smoothing out lippage, as well as smoothing out saw and grinder marks before polishing. The coarse grade 30 can be used to expose the aggregate in concrete, prior to polishing.

These discs are grip backed for use on a hook based backing pad. The optimum speed is around 4,000rpm, so should be used on a rotary polisher, rotary sander, or the slow speed on a variable speed angle grinder. Can be used dry, but life may be extended if used wet.
